We had to work very closely with the client and the building managers in order to prepare the offices for occupancy. They needed new power and data cabling as well as adjustments to the air conditioning, sprinklers and lighting systems. The existing comms room was extremely large and included a fire suppression system and air conditioning units. Part of our remit was to strip these out, but we also had to replace them with two small patch rooms. In addition we removed partitions and parts of the ceiling and built new meeting rooms and cellular offices.
We're delighted that despite the many challenges we faced, the project was completed on time and on budget - and the client was delighted with the result and the service we provided. Our design for the offices accommodated CT’s existing furniture (saving the company a substantial sum) and has provided the organisation with contemporary, well presented City offices.
