Teknion is an international designer, manufacturer and marketer of office systems furniture, partitions and storage products. Concept’s challenge was to design a new showroom to showcase many of Teknion’s new products to its UK based clientele.
Teknion’s furniture is designed to meet the latest trends in today’s evolving workplace. Concept transformed the 5000 sq ft space into a minimalist, fresh space that is as innovative and exciting as the products themselves. The predominance of white walls, glass partitions and exposed surfaces provides a feeling of design, whilst not detracting from the products on display. The white finishes and prevalence of glass also reflect natural light which can contribute to creating a healthy, productive workplace.
Concept’s design team worked closely with Teknion’s in-house showroom facilities team to create a neutral backdrop that avoids visual clutter, is representative of Teknion’s corporate image and is a compelling environment to visit.
John Bent, General Manager commented, “Concept was invited to put forward a proposal for the refurbishment of our new London showroom. We liked their approach and valued the input of their design team. We have been extremely pleased with the way they interpreted our ideas and achieved our vision within budget. The result is light, airy and inviting, and has provided us with an adaptable space that will enable us to showcase our products to their maximum advantage.”
